LG's next-gen Chocolate BL40 teased

We can't verify the authenticity of the video, but it seems a little far-fetched to believe that even LG diehards out there would've been able to toil away making a very legit-looking promo piece for the company's recently-teased new Chocolate in such a short period of time -- so we're tentatively going to say we think we're looking at the real thing here. That said, what we've got is nothing short of drool-worthy: the rumored 21:9 800 x 345 display appears real (which is said in the video to be 4 inches diagonal), plus there's a gorgeous Flash-based 3D UI, multitouch, AGPS, WiFi, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and a glass screen surface that's said to be scratch-proof, all packed into an impossibly thin case. Yes, we know everyone's been trying to sound the dumbphone death knell for years now -- but frankly, you'd have to have a grossly miscalibrated monitor to not have a special place in your heart for what you're seeing here. Follow the break for the quite-possibly-authentic video in full.

Fujifilm's FinePix Real 3D camera to launch in September, cost around $600

It's been a while since we've heard anything aboutFujifilm's FinePix Real 3D camera, but as the twin-lensed shooter nears that scheduled September release some more details are spilling out -- including the price, which will be "around $600" at launch. Yeah, it's steep, and that's not all: to properly view the images you'll need to either shell out for special prints with a plastic lenticular lens on it or buy a special stereoscopic LCD photo frame, and none of that really screams "cheap." Honestly, our instinct would be to spend all that scratch on a good DSLR or even something like the Olympus E-P1, but there's always a chance Fujifilm's about to reveal the public's deep-rooted desire for 3D snapshots.

Footballer Ronaldo liquidating his car collection - after accepting £80 million bid from Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo cars
24-year-old soccer football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has put his luxury car collection up for sale after accepting an £80 million ($128,467,650 USD / €92,294,100) offer to play for Real Madrid.

The vehicles up for sale include a Bentley Continental GT Speed(£114,950), a Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Tiptronic S (£69,995), and a Mercedes C220 CDI (£10,795). As one source put it, "Cristiano is keen to sell his cars because they are right-hand drive. He will just go out and replace them."

He certainly knows how to replace vehicles, in the past few years Cristiano has owned a Porsche Cayenne, a Bentley Continental GTC, a Ferrari 599 GTB (which he crashed), and an Audi R8.

All three vehicles are being sold by a local Manchester dealer which has listed them on Auto Trader.

Motorola's ROKR ZN50 touchscreen slider

Right around this time last year, we actually had lofty hopes that Motorola would get its handset business in gear and shock us all with an ultra-potent, completely refined smartphone. Here we sit today, still waiting. Still, we can't pass up an opportunity to throw Moto's hardware design team a bone, as the ROKR ZN50 is downright sexy from any angle. The music-centric, full touchscreen slider packs a 3.2-inch panel (427 x 240 resolution), automatic screen rotation, shake to switch tracks, a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, Bluetooth stereo headset support, SRS WOW HD audio tech and a battery good for 30 hours of audio playback. There's also a T-DMB TV tuner, 4GB of inbuilt memory, a microSDHC card slot, 3.2 megapixel camera, an e-dictionary and support for 7.2Mbps HSDPA. Sadly, it seems as if the phone is being reserved for the Korean market, but seriously, can you imagine this hitting North America with Android loaded on? Motorola: you're this close.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Passes $300 Million at the Box Office

Michael Bay's latest film becomes the first film of the year to crack mega-blockbuster status. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has become the first film to crack $300 million at the domestic box office this year.

Monday's box office figures have the sequel's North American tally at $299.8 million, while the international grosses passed $300 million as well, for a worldwide take of over $600 million. Still, the Monday box office crown ended up going to the animated hit Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, which barely squeaked by with $6.5 million to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen $6.4 million.

Stars, fans and family gather for Michael Jackson memorial

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Michael Jackson's family and close friends held a private service at a Los Angeles cemetery on Tuesday as fans crowded into the city's downtown area for a star-packed public memorial to the "King of Pop."

Singers Mariah Carey, Usher and Jennifer Hudson will mix with R&B veterans Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie and Stevie Wonder while sports stars like Kobe Bryant and other celebrities were expected at the public farewell to the singer who died suddenly on June 25.

A fleet of black vehicles took Jackson's parents and siblings to the cemetery. The gold-trimmed casket was later carried off in a hearse to the Staples Center sports arena where the memorial show was being held.

Some 18,000 fans and friends have tickets for the Staples Center event and a nearby, overflow theater for a two-hour ceremony.

Jackson, 50, died after suffering cardiac arrest in his rented Los Angeles mansion during rehearsals for a 50-show series of comebackconcerts in London after a fallow period in his singing career.

Police estimate more than 250,000 people would gather outside the arena to say farewell to the "Thriller" singer and one-time member of Motown legends the Jackson 5, who was 50 years-old when he died.

Outside the Staples Center, fans crowded the sidewalks and vendors sold King of Pop t-shirts for $10, as well as posters, necklaces and white sequined gloves that became Jackson's trademark.

Ferrari F450 full body prototype spied for first time

These are the very first spy pictures of the upcoming Ferrari F450 prototype testing on the road and track. The F450 replaces the current F430. Previously spies have only been able to snap test mules using an F430 body but this time it is the car itself hiding underneath all the black garments.

Some of the first details to catch the eye are the LED daytime running lights which appear to be flowing upwards into the fenders as headlight extensions. They will prove to be a provocative talking point if they make it into production.

Sony Ericsson "Rachael" Android XPERIA handset unveiled?

Hello, beautiful. Danish phone site Mobil has uncovered "internal documents" on what appears to be Sony Ericsson's upcoming Android-based handset, an XPERIA number codenamed Rachael. Under the hood is a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, HSPA and an 8 megapixel camera. It's unclear how big the touchscreen is, and other details are scarce -- there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, so that's nice, but unless we're severely misguided, there doesn't seem to be a slide-out keyboard tucked away inside this thin chassis.

Top 20 Best Selling DSLRs in Japan 2008

The Japanese BCN Ranking website has published the list of 20 bestselling DSLRs in Japan for the Year 2008. Japanese market has always been a reliable indicator of the DSLR manufacturers worldwide overall performance. There isn't a big surprise on the top of the list, Nikon and Canon going neck and neck for the top spot. Thanks to Digital Rebel Xsi/450D with its %19.1 market share, Canon still manages to cope with Nikon top trio: D60, D80 and D40. Sony secures a strong 3rd place with the popular A350, A300 and A200. The absence of the A700 in the Top 20 list is sad though, this camera deserves better then this I believe. I am expecting an upgrade very soon, hope this time Sony makes things right and install the replacement an optimised firmware from the very beginning!

The only Full Frame camera on the top 20 List is the Nikon D700. No surprise here, what actually surprises me is how and why Nikon sells such a great camera for as low as $2.300!Panasonic G1 also manages a significant market share, which sold more than any Olympus camera on the market.

Anyway, here is the full list:

1- Canon EOS XSi 19.1%
2- Nikon D60 10.9%
3- Nikon D80 10.6%
4- Nikon D40 9.1%
5- Canon EOS XS 8.4%

6- Canon EOS 40D 6.7%
7- Sony α350 4.2%
8- Nikon D300 3.3%
9- Sony α200 2.6%
10- Nikon D90 2.2%
11- Canon EOS 50D 2%
12- Nikon D40x 1.9%
13- Canon EOS Xti 1.8%
14- Sony α300 1.7%
15- Pentax K200D 1.6%
16- Panasonic Lumix G1 1.4%
17- Olympus E-510 1.4%
18- Olympus E-520 1.2%
19- Olympus E-420 1.2%
20- Nikon D700 1%
